Bike Somerset to get Charitable Status
The Somerset Cycle Trust established by Cycle Somerset, will be administered by Bike Somerset from 1st July 2007. At an EGM on Wednesday 6th June, the Trustees of Somerset Cycle Trust voted in favour of expanding their ambitions across the county.
This development means that Bike Somerset is now better placed to provide the services that will benefit the entire community. These include fundraising for young athletes, bike-rebuild scheme for less priviliged children, route development, safe routes to schools and event development.
The existing Trustees of the Trust have been joined by the members of Bike Somerset until 12 Sep 07, when they will hold their AGM.
