Lequatre wins Tour of Britain
The final stage of the Tour provided exhilarating racing and a win for Frenchman Geoffroy Lequatre. Barloworld's British rider Steve Cummings finished second, five seconds behind Lequatre. The other winners were Matthew Goss (points), Edvald Boasson (Sprint) and Danilo Di Luca (King of the Mountains).

The Tour visited the South West for the second consecutive year, with the stage shared between Devon and Somerset. Despite awful weather, huge crowds flocked to key locations along the route, with Chard, Tiverton, South Molton and Burnham benefitting from thousands of visitors.
